WOW,
with a capital W! That was my takeaway from last night's cancer call. And it was fun to see such a large audience at the table.
Dr. Bastidas shared how our extracellular matrix determines the health of our cells. He shared how what we believe, eat, environment, supplement and more contributes to this matrix. Cancer cells cannot thrive when we have a healthy matrix.
My greatest takeaway was the slide he showed where the breast cancer cells were no longer malignant because of the change in the extracellular matrix.

There is so much teaching at our disposal that it is a
blessing we can learn, but yet it can also be a challenge since the information can be confusing.
Dr. Bastidas shared the research he is doing and not just parroting other people's words. It was so refreshing to get first-hand knowledge.
Here is the
definition of extracellular matrix:
A large network of proteins and other molecules that surround, support, and give structure to cells and tissues in the body. The extracellular matrix helps cells attach to, and communicate with, nearby cells, and plays an important role in cell growth,
cell movement, and other cell functions.
Now the purpose of the webinar was to give us steps to improve our matrix and see our health improve. to create a cellular matrix that cancer cannot thrive.
