Hello ,

People often react with surprise when they see me sprinkle a pinch of salt into my coffee.

“I’ve never seen that before,” they say. “Why do you do that?”

I explain, “It helps to mellow out the bitterness and sharpness.”

Just as salt can transform a cup of coffee, it also holds profound spiritual meaning in the Bible.

Salt symbolizes several things in the Bible:

Covenant: Represents an everlasting promise with God, reflecting the unbreakable nature of His commitments (Leviticus 2:13, Numbers 18:19, 2 Chronicles 13:5).
Friendship and Loyalty: Symbolizes enduring relationships and God's unchanging love (Psalms 136).
Flavor and Preservation: Adds flavor and preserves, symbolizing how we should enhance and sustain goodness and grace in the world.
Valuable Mineral: Reflects the value and importance of God's promises and offerings.
Nourishment: Provides essential minerals, reminding us to seek pure, wholesome goodness.
