Dear Ambassadors,
Happy Wednesday!
Growing up, we used to sing the song “I’ll
Tell the World That I’m a Christian.” every week in Sunday School. This song was always one of my favorites and I am often reminded of the beautiful lyrics as I share Biblical Wellness with others:
I’ll tell the world that I’m a Christian
I’m not ashamed His Name to bear.
I’ll tell the world that I’m a Christian
I’ll take Him with me anywhere.
I’ll tell the world how Jesus saved me
And how He gave me a life brand new.
And I know that if you trust Him,
That all He gave me, He’ll give to you.
I’ll tell the world that He’s my Savior
No other one could love me so.
My life, my all, is His forever
And where He leads me, I will go.
I remember singing this song around a warm campfire one summer night during a youth retreat. As we were singing this song, Jesus began tugging at my heart and calling me into ministry. I made a commitment that night to share Christ everywhere I went.
As you begin your Biblical Wellness Ministry, my prayer is that you will make a commitment to share Christ above everything else.
You can’t open someone’s heart to the truth of the Gospel—but God can.
The Apostle Paul wasn’t an eloquent speaker, but God used him in amazing ways. Moses had a speech impediment, but God used him to lead the children of Israel to the
Promised Land.
Remember that God does not call the equipped, He equips the called—and as Christians, we are all called to share the love of Christ with others.
Some of Christ’s last words on earth were, “Go and make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:19). Sharing our faith isn’t just a suggestion, it’s a command.
Sharing the love of Christ and the promise of eternal life
can be as simple as sharing John 3:16-
“
For God so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting
life.”
An excellent resource on how to share the love of Christ with others can be found at: Sharing Your Faith 101 (billygraham.org)
If you are nervous about sharing your faith, speak with your pastor or
church leadership or ask a friend to help you practice. We can also help here in this ministry.
As you are building your Biblical Wellness Ministry, pray about how to share Christ in everything that you do.
A great reminder is found in Matthew 6:33-
”But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.”
If you are teaching a cooking class, you can share a devotion. If you have a website or podcast, have posts and lessons that will encourage others to come to know Christ as their personal Savior. Play Christian music as you lead an exercise
class. The main thing is to share! If you need help with how to do this, please let me know.
Friends, our world desperately needs Jesus and how will others come to know Him if we don’t share?
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine
before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father, which is in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16
I get SOOOO excited when I think about what God is getting ready to do through this ministry! I am so thankful for you all and that we get to do this together! God is Good!
Reminder, our first zoom call will be Tuesday, July 30th at 7:00 p.m. eastern.
Can’t wait to see you all!
Praying that you have a
blessed week,
Rhonda
