Blessings to you ...
Before I get to the blood work, which surprised me, let me share what has been going on in my life.
This has been an 8 week whirlwind! I traveled from Tampa (my time in the sun and kayaking), to St. Louis (my kids were in a horrific accident), then to Dallas (for the National Religious Broadcasters Conference) and then
finally to Chicago (Inspired Home Show)!
Each travel brought me back home rested, inspired and encouraged.
And yet, I love being in my home office as it sets the tone for me to be constantly thinking about you and how God wants me to be a service to you. And we came home with great treasures that will show up at the Retreat. I know you are going to love it!
Thanks for letting my team serve you as I was consumed with travel and
interviews.
Now for today's topic.......
God is at work in this ministry and I am amazed at how He desires to us this platform for His service.
Here are the top 3 reasons we serve you:
- To use food as the can opener to Jesus.
- To share the gift of healing through food to Christ's followers to keep them on mission to finish well.
- To train others how to further this mission with Ambassadors and Coaches.
Now,
before I left town, I ordered my winter blood work. I prefer ordering this just after Christmas and then get it drawn in Florida as the lab is so convenient there. (Here is the page to download my list of blood work you can order on your own.)
Then when I get home in Virginia, I get the results and can see what adjustments I need
to make.
The CBC was excellent, the Cholesterol and triglycerides were at my normal. This is not 'normal', as some doctors claim. But they are very out of date on the research. My normal cholesterol is 220. I have and will continue to ignore any doctor who says I need to consider a medication for this level. Most doctors don't mention this level anymore but they do recommend getting it tested more often to hopefully see a higher number to then say I must get on a
medication.
My hA1C is perfect, my cancer levels are in the levels that have stayed consistently low. My hormones are all at a good level. My testosterone was in the optimal range, but too low for my happiness. So that means the 4 key things must be a daily checklist to improve the levels and to also keep my adrenals balanced.
Here are the 4 areas to keep hormones, especially testosterone, in balance daily:
- Eat the Bible Diet - remember the 3
principles, key fiber and vegetables
- Exercise daily - especially with weights
- Sleep - always my dream land :)
- Bible Study - lessens stress, trust God, see God as our warrior and Lion of Judah. This is key for cortisol levels!
Now, for the surprise that I must fix right away....
My vitamin D is usually between 70-90. That is my sweet spot. Yet, I was disappointed to see my D at 51!
This is not a super critical number, but it directly
shows that I had stopped being consistent taking my D daily.
When I need to get my numbers up quickly, I take 2 pills daily and then when I get it to the level I desire; I back down to 1 pill per day.
Now that I have seen my numbers drop, I am back to 2 pills per day for 3 weeks, then I will drop back to 1 per day and NOT ever stop taking them.
Here are the reasons we must keep D at the optimal levels.
- First, one of our teachers, Ellie Cullen, RN in the
Treasures video series, has studied this through thousands of blood test with her clients. Her research has shown that people with cancer ALWAYS have low levels of D.
2. My dad had covid during the pandemic and he thought because of his age he would die. He was 89. Yet, he listened to me and his D was 75. To his surprise, he recovered quickly.
Here are some research quotes from Linus Pauling...
3. D is essential: for vitamin D, supplementation can limit cognitive deterioration
4. Vitamin D deficiency leads to increased incidence and severity of the coronavirus disease
5. Vitamin D supplementation may offer promising improvements in the management of atopic dermatitis (eczema) and Crohn’s disease
6. Vitamin D is essential for maintenance of bone mineralization through the regulation of calcium
7. Hyperparathyroidism due to vitamin D insufficiency
8. Poor vitamin D status leads to increased risk of developing colorectal and breast cancer
9. Low Vitamin D status leads to the susceptibility or severity of autoimmune diseases, including type 1 diabetes mellitus, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid
arthritis, and systemic lupus erythematosus.
So, where is your Vitamin D level TODAY?
Here is the website I use to order my own tests👍 This is with Direct Labs. And if you want my free download to know what tests I order bi-annually for myself, here is the list. (go to bottom of page for download.)
Or you can work with Dr. Jae Hitson.
It is best to order now and then again in 3 months after supplementing.
Here is the product my family uses👍 Use tbn10 for the coupon code.
