Happy AMEN Day ,
It seems protein is the topic of the day, and with so many of our Biblical Nutritionist family getting blood work with Dr Jae, she is recommending everyone eat more protein. And this is so true. And for every age.
Yet, there is the struggle of what proteins and how much is enough.
Always keep in mind our Three Principles when
making any diet change. Protein from animals is very much biblical yet, I prefer getting meats from farmers I know and can ask questions. But that is not always possible. So then I resort to the grocery store.
The truth about animal proteins in the grocery store is there is no truth or disclosure of where that meat is coming from. And most hamburger is a 'collection' of meats from more than one country. That thought always takes me back a bit, but I will not belabor that
thought.
So, when possible, buy from a local farmer and second buy organic when at the store.
Plant proteins are very nutritious and also more economical. My Black Bean Soup in the Healthy Treasures Cookbook is our favorite go-to on a nippy Fall day. It can be made with or without meat.
To help you with animal and plant proteins, I just released this video: “How to Get 100 Grams of Protein a Day”, and trust me — it’s way easier (and
tastier) than you might think. 😋
In this video, I walk through simple, real-food ways to hit that 100g goal — whether you eat meat, prefer plant-based options, or somewhere in between. I even show you how to balance it throughout your day so your body stays energized and satisfied.
And because I know many of you love practical tools, I’ve included a free Cookbook to help you map it all out!

I have to tell you — when I added in more protein, I was happy to see how better I felt. Clearer focus, stronger muscles, less hunger swings — all from fueling my body with the right balance. God really did design food to work with us, not
against us!

Here’s to building strength, energy, and confidence — one good meal at a time! 💛
