Hi ,
Have you ever noticed that some of the best moments in life happen simply because you’re surrounded by the right people?
Not perfect people.
Just the kind of friends who make the journey lighter, funnier, and a lot more encouraging.
I was pondering this because I enjoy being part of a
group that reminds me of this every single week.
In our Inner Circle meetings, something funny or unexpected almost always happens.
Sometimes someone joins while riding their bike.
Sometimes someone has kids popping in and out of the background.
And one time
(actually more than once)… someone showed up to our meeting holding a baby lamb in their lap.
(Which I think officially makes us the only coaching group where livestock occasionally attends.)
But the funny moments aren’t really what keep people coming back.
What keeps people showing up week after week — and sometimes year after year — is the friendships and encouragement that grow
there.
We actually have people who have been part of the Inner Circle for over six years.
Not because they have to be.
Because they want to be.
Because when you gather with people who are working together, encouraging each
other, praying for one another, and celebrating transformation in each other’s lives, beautiful happens!
Accountability becomes joyful. Accountability for those who have lost over 100 pounds!
Marriages have mended.
Cancer has been kicked out.
Growth becomes exciting.
And the journey becomes something you never want to walk alone.
Honestly, we almost never miss our meetings.
Of course, life
gets busy sometimes. And we have many who love the replays. And replays are just as powerful.
But we come back quickly — because being part of a circle of friends who are cheering each other on toward real change is one of the most rewarding things I’ve experienced.
It reminds me of what Scripture teaches us about community.
Galatians 6:2 says: “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of
Christ.”
And sometimes that looks like deep encouragement.
Sometimes it looks like prayer.
And sometimes it looks like laughing together while someone’s kids or cats wander into the Zoom call.
But all of it reflects something important.
We were never meant to walk this journey alone.
God designed us to grow, learn, and support one another along the way.
And when that happens, transformation becomes
not only possible, but joyful. Don’t let weight, sadness, or fear keep you from reaching your goals. We have a family waiting to walk with you through the journey of healing.
I hope this Sabbath brings you moments of that kind of connection.
Singing Alleluia,
Annette
